The most natural-looking permanent replacement for missing teeth is dental implants. A titanium structure is inserted into the gums, and then the implant is left to heal and grow bone around it for 2-4 months before a crown or bridge can be fitted over it. This results in optimal function and aesthetics. Our clinic offers the most effective dental implant treatment, which is pain-free, minimally invasive, and the implants are virtually indistinguishable from natural teeth.

Are you the right candidate for implants?

The ideal candidate for dental implant treatment should have good general as well as oral health. Patients should have healthy gums and enough bone to hold the implant in place. They must also maintain good oral hygiene and be regular for dental visits. If you have a single tooth or multiple teeth missing due to any reason like trauma, injury, tooth decay, accident, or aging, then come to Dr. Manali Pankaj Mehta Clinic. She is amongst the top 10 dentists in Mumbai, where you get superior treatment and perfect implants.

Single & Multiple Implants

It is possible to replace a single missing tooth with an implant-supported crown. A dental implant-supported crown replaces a tooth and its root, which is not the case with a crown and bridge unit. Since the crown is attached to the implant, the surrounding healthy teeth do not need to be treated. Furthermore, the crown will be custom-made to blend seamlessly with the rest of your teeth so that it will feel and look just like your natural teeth.

Dentures or bridges can be attached to dental implants for people who have lost multiple teeth. One or more teeth can be replaced with a bridge. In some cases, an implant-supported bridge can replace three or four teeth with only two implants - and no crowns are required.

An implant-supported partial denture replaces several teeth, while a full denture replaces all the upper or lower arch teeth. They can both be removable or fixed. To achieve optimal stability, a full denture requires as few as four to six implants. Because implants hold the dentures securely in place, they won't slip or wobble.

Immediate Loaded Implants

Depending on the indication, dental implant treatment may take between three and twelve months. Multiple dental appointments may be required for various aspects of the process. Immediate implant placement and immediate implant loading offer the opportunity to reduce the time between visits and shorten the time to teeth, benefiting both the practice and the patient.

Immediate loading is also referred to as immediate function. Single tooth restoration can be placed within 48 hours of implant placement if primary stability is achieved - this is called immediate provisionalization.

All on 4 & All on 6 Implants

It's the more economical and practical way to restore all of your missing teeth without having to take the more expensive and painful route of giving every empty tooth socket its own dental implant and an individual crown.

All-on-4 and All-on-6, the differences are found right on the numbers on their names. The number refers to the number of implants that will be strategically placed on the top and/or bottom of the jaw. Flossing them differently than natural teeth is another significant difference between all-on implants and natural teeth, of course.

Zygomatic Implants

Replacement of the upper jaw's teeth is achieved with zygomatic implants. The procedure can be used to replace an entire arch of missing teeth, severely damaged or decayed teeth, or teeth that have become loose because of severe periodontal disease. Moreover, zygomatic implants are the best option for patients who are unable to receive traditional dental implants due to low bone density. In conjunction with traditional dental implants, zygomatic implants can also replace upper and lower teeth.

A zygomatic implant is named after the bone into which it is implanted. In more specific terms, zygomatic implants are placed into the cheekbone, also known as the zygomatic bone. Compared to the maxillary bone, zygomatic bone has a much higher density, allowing the implant to have a much more secure anchor. Zygomatic implants are longer than traditional dental implants because they are placed in the cheekbone.

Bone grafting

Bone grafting is a surgical procedure used to repair or rebuild bones by transplanting bone tissue. Restoring bone and supporting tissues that are missing can be accomplished by transplanting healthy bone tissue.

During a consultation for dental implants, it is fairly normal to be told that bone grafting might be required. Most people are also afraid of it. There is no need to be afraid of this procedure. The procedure is painless and predictable as part of a regular dental routine.

A bone graft is a procedure that is necessary when a patient's mouth doesn't have enough natural bone to support dental implants. A lack of natural bone may result from:

  • Development Defects
  • Gum Disease
  • Face Injury or Trauma
  • Empty Space After Teeth Were Removed
